Rishi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor played the title role of Guru and Dev. Both are in love with Devi and Devi. (Sri, plays a double role in the film as Sonia and Priya). Some funny situations and misunderstandings (in a comical situation), this film was incomplete with the sudden demise of the director/actor Vinod Mehra. It was his first directorial film and he had high hopes and expectations from the film. Later, his friend Raj Sippy completed the film and gave the finishing touches. But the credit of the film lies with Vinod Mehra. A film that can be watched only for some comic timings and Sridevi's presence. Nothing great about the film. Late RD Burman scored music for the film. Aana rey aana rey... was a hit number
