Modernized and stylished Seeta Aur Geeta. Hema Malini was very good in the original. And Sridevi is brilliant and wonderful (for her dual characters) in this remake, thats why she won the Filmfare Award for this film. Sri plays Anju and Manju. One is a calm and a sacrificing girl and another is a tomboyish brat. Sunny Deol and Rajnikanth get confused with their girls. Anupam Kher, Rohini Hattangady and Shakti (Bal....maa) Kapoor are the comedy 'baddies', while Anu Kapoor, Aruna Irani, Saeed Jaffrey and Master Aftab Shivdasani (he was a small boy) give ample support. Pankaj 'Jalwa' Parashar directs this fun film with super hit music and excellent dances choreographed by Saroj Khan. 'Na Jaane Kahan Se aayi hai' picturised in the rain sequence. In fact, during its shooting, Sri had a high temperature and inspite of that, she continued shooting till 3 am in the morning. Highly recommended to those who haven't watched this film.
