Dharmendra pairs with Sridevi in the film. It is not a great pair, neither a hit pair. Definately not. Its a pair which one cannot even think of. Sridevi has had her hit pairs with Jeetendra right from the beginning and then her pairing with Anil Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Sunny Deol also were considered hit in Hindi cinema. Besides she has done films with Bachchan, Mithun, Rakesh Roshan, Feroz Khan to name a few. And some odd pairs include those of young actors Rahul Roy and Deepak Malhotra. Not to forget Govinda. And seniority of Shatrughan Sinha and Dharmendra. Thats for record.
Getting back to this film, Shibu Mitra directs the film with Dharmendra playing a village bumpkin who falls in love with Sridevi and they get married. Chunky Pandey and Sonam form the young pair. With some villains to go by, Devi sings in the climax with the Usha Uthup voice, the title song. One highlight of this flop film is Sri appearing in a single song with 15 different get ups of actresses Rekha, Hema, Waheeda, Mala Sinha, Nargis, Mumtaz etc. Also she does a Gabbar Singh too! And the song is to say, whoever she can look like, she is better looking like Sridevi! Rightly said!!!
