Rajnikanth is a military man. After he finishes his training he comes to his village. He meets the village belle (Sridevi) and after she rags him for quite some time, they fall in love. Rajinkanth's friend is Chiranjeevi who is in a bad company of villains. He marries Rajni's sister and finally all goes well, everyone is united. This was a Tamil film, titled 'Raanuva Veeran' released in 1981 and directed by S.P. Muthuraman, that got dubbed in Hindi with the title 'Zulm Ki Zanjeer'. Jayalalitha also played a important role in the film. MS Vishwanathan composed the music for the film.
