Jhanvi and Khushi are Sridevi's AULAD

Jeetendra and Sridevi are a happy couple, while Vinod Mehra and Jaya Pradha are one. Jeetu and Sri have a small infant and Jaya's is on the way. And on the way to a Hill station, the train in which all the four travel (plus the infant) meet with an accident. Sri is shown drowned in the river. Mehra is declared dead. (His body is found, her body is missing). That remains Jeetu, Jaya and the infant of Sri. Jaya loses her child. Jeetu keeps his child on her cradle to keep Pradha smiling (What a sacrifice?). Many reels later, Enter Sridevi. Where was she? She wasn't drowned. It took her reels to come back (jokes apart). Sri asks for her child, Jaya owns the child. The Aulad is now confused. Devaki and Yashoda (Sri and Jaya) are keen to have the child. All ends well in a Hindi film, of course.
The film was produced and directed by Sadanah (Actress Naghma and Jyotika's father). Laxmikanth Pyarelal's songs were: Tan tana tan tan tan tan/Raste ka Maal Sasthe main...

Note: There was an old movie by the name AULAD (1968) with Jeetendra and Babita and my dad had distributed the film, then!
