Thanikattu Raja was a 1983 Tamil film directed by V.C.Gohanathan. The film thanks to its stars Rajnikanth and Sridevi got dubbed in Hindi as 'Aaj Ka Dada'. Rajinikanth plays a local Dada who is in love with Sridevi. He finishes all the baddies and wins Devi from the clutches of the villain. Sri Priya and Silk Smitha also are in the cast with music by Ilayaraja. The Tamil film was produced by Suresh Productions (D Rama Naidu). Dinesh Salgia produced the Hindi dubbed version.
