K Raghavendra Rao was the director who gave Sridevi the biggest break in Himmatwala, and continued working with her in lots of Hindi films later on. He had initially worked with her in Telugu films and also has the maximum number of films done with her. In 1985 he had paired her opposite Krishna for the Telugu film 'Vajrayudham' which was a masala film that got dubbed in Hindi as 'Ek Chor Ek Hasina'. As the title goes, its about a rowdy thief who falls in love with a rich spoil brat. With other ingredients of songs, dance, maar dhaad and a bit comedy, the telugu film was sensationalized for Sridevi's dance number.
Infact, K Raghavendra Rao later used the same song picturised on Anita Raj and Rajesh Khanna for the film Masterji,
