After Mr. India and Nagina creating box office history with being tagged as Super Duper Hits, and Devi being claimed as No.1, many of her films that were almost on floors and almost complete, were all hurried for release. Infact, it so happened that back to back some of her films got released as in it was like Sridevi Film Festival. It was all to encash Devi's popularity. Most of them were box office disasters, but all said and done, it did not effect Sridevi's status and her career. She ruled it for a longer time.
One such film that didnt do well was, Himmat Aur Mehnat.
